Fox, Katie & Nadine in 2015: Week 30

 Day 204
First night in Germany, 2am. Who needs sleep?

Day 205

This is how a delirious toddler on jetlag sounds. It was pitch dark, as you can see, the middle of the night, and Fox started to crack up, for no reason whatsoever. How can you be mad for not getting any sleep after you hear this sweet voice?

Day 206

Katie always dry heaves whenever I tell her how much I miss this meal from Germany. It's basically raw ground beef with onions on a bun. Yes, raw. It's delicious and everyone eats it over there. It's called Mettbroetchen, so if you ever get the chance to try it, do it! You'll thank me later! :)

Day 207
Fox thought my brother Maurice had the best toys ever!

Day 208

Jetlag at its finest!

Day 209

It doesn't look like it here, but Fox HATED bath time in Germany. He just screamed and screamed and refused to sit down. One night, I even had to take a bath with him, just to get him clean. Until my mom had the genius idea to give him some bubbles to play with. Obviously he dumped everything in a split second, but loved playing with the bottle for the rest of the trip during bath time.

Day 210
Do you see this kid? And do you see my pillow to the right of him? This is how much room he left me every single night!

August iPhone dump

A few of my favorite moments from August! Meet the teacher for the boys! I received this picture from Katie's wife, such a sweet bond they have. I'm also loving how his pajamas are inside out...haha. Walter came back to spend a few days with us! We watched him last summer, and the boys kept talking about him, so we were all so excited when his mom asked us to watch him for a few days. Notice Finn pouting. He was upset that Walter "only pays attention to Fox". So many big emotions in such a tiny body. Mr. Cool Guy at his dentist check up and teeth cleaning! I was trying to get some work done in my office, but this guy needed some attention. Finn made a bed for them, so they could sleep together. In the end, no one wanted to sleep there, but he was so happy to cuddle with Walter for a bit. My friend got me some comedy tickets to see "Nurse John", so I invited my two besties, and two of my old classmates, and we had a blast, he was so funny. We even got VIP acc...

First day of school

This year I have a first and a fifth grader! Aww, he was so tiny in the first picture in Pre-K! Last year of elementary school for this big kid, and Mama is not ready for middle school next year. The boys had a great start to their school year, still taking the bus every day, and while no one is a fan of going to school around here, they seem to like their teachers and classes so far. I'm glad to be getting back to more of a routine for them (and me), because let me just tell you...summer was rough! Haha.

March iPhone dump

A look back at the month of March! Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date! This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big? Family game night outside! My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha! I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks. Whenever I'm not with them, I'm at work, and I guess it's just been extra hard because I never had to be away from them as much as I have since becoming a nurse.  Fox brought this home from schoo...
