Game Night

Whenever I'm in a dump, feeling just blah, or maybe even depressed, I know what I need to do to get out of it...plan a get together with my girls. After we had so much fun playing games during my birthday weekend, I set up a game night at my house, and it was exactly what my heart and soul needed, plus so much more. Apparently I have to invest in some shot glasses, and since I didn't have any, these ramekins had to do.   There were a lot of blurry selfies! And so much laughter! They all left around 2am, which was probably the latest night we've ever had together. I can't wait to plan our next event!

Fox's first day of 2nd Grade

Welcome to second grade! Say what? I feel like I just dropped him off for his first day of preschool, but again, time is a thief.  This year's meet the teacher event was especially exciting, because Fox's school got torn down and completely re-built during Covid and this was the first opportunity for parents to see the new campus. Not because she introduced Christina as a mom, but in my mind the teacher now thinks that we are polygamists. Apparently Christina felt the exact same way, because she immediately brought it up to Kat...

July iPhone dump

A look back at our July! Aquarium visits with friends. Finn and I used to go to the aquarium 3 times a week while Fox was in school, but we only went once this summer, since Fox wasn't too interested in going. Big boy sleeping in his big boy bed. I went to a smash room for the first time and this sign cracked me up. I had to send a picture to Katie...she thought it was funny. It was so much fun, we blasted angry music and destroyed some shit.  I never get tired of watching my babies sleep.  Our friends invited us to join them at their community water park and it was so awesome there.  Finn had the time of his life. Fox on the other hand needed to be convinced that he could have some fun even though there weren't any friends for him. I didn't know if he would be brave enough to jump off this diving board, but he had zero hesitation and then couldn't get enough. A beautiful Arizona sunset from the top of a mountain. It was my friend's Corinne's birthday and she in...
