My Once Upon a Time...

I'm never going to catch up, but I'll keep trying. So in the meantime, it's Christmas in February! Last year we built Gingerbread Houses with our friends, but since we weren't able to do that this year (or should I say in 2020), the boys and I decided to have our own Gingerbread House decorating party.  This was Finn's first time and he was really into it.  At some point, Finn realized that he could not only decorate the house with the Candy, but also eat it. He kept eating one piece after the other, saying with each bite: "Don't mind if I do...!" I was laughing so hard, not sure where he came up with that.  Two happy boys on a sugar high! Fox and I were both sad that our friends couldn't join us this year, but hopefully we can make up for it next Christmas!

One of them loved Santa this year, the other one not so much. You can decide which is which. I always say to our photographer that if I can't get a smiling picture, I want a crying one. But just like last year, Finn decided to just be stoic. He wasn't scared, but he wasn't impressed either to be held by this big ole guy. The snowball fight must have been Fox's favorite, he really put his heart and soul into making sure that Santa got some hard hits from him. They were turning on the Christmas tree together. See ya! One of my favorite photo shoots of the year...Christmas pajama minis! I love that the outfits are a no brainer (I always use the exact same pajamas every single year) and Fox doesn't complain about having to put "fancy clothes" on...which really is anything but pajamas. Finn needed a little coaxing to get some smiles out of him, but he did great. And then Fox decided to get a little crazy... This is my favorite picture from the shoot, and I definitely need to get it printed. Look at those big teeth! When did my baby grow up? I swear, he got so big within the last year. I love my crazy and silly boys!
