February phone dump

A few more pictures from February!

I found them cuddling on the couch together, but it didn't last long.

We went rollerblading around the lake one evening, I hadn't been on rollerblades for many years, but it was a lot of fun!

Beautiful sunrise on my way to work.

Practicing his cup stacking.

Another sunrise from the parking garage at work.

Fresh haircuts for the boys!

A few more pictures I received from my friend's Tilly's wedding at my house.

My favorite people!

Fox learned how to grill steak by himself and it's been a game changer. Growing up so fast!

Cuddles with my wild child.

Reading before school!

I visited Finn for his Valentine's day party at school.

Helping a sixth grader with math homework has not been my favorite haha.

Reading outside with a sixth grader however, will always be my favorite!

I asked Finn to take a picture of Fox and I reading together, and this is what I got.

This little President's day project that Finn brought home from school made me laugh so much. We don't talk about politics at my house, but I'm sure he hears a lot at his other house haha.

Finn was showing Fox a comic he drew. Fox is always so sweet and patient with him.

We saw a couple of movies in the theater, one of Fox's favorite things to do, although I always think he just wants to go for the food.

I received this little nightlight as a gift and I absolutely love it.

Pool season has begun! Finn has a few friends over to play and I loved hearing all their giggles.
And that wraps up February!

July iPhone dump

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

We took some family pictures this fall!

March iPhone dump

A look back at the month of March! Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date! This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big? Family game night outside! My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha! I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks. Whenever I'm not with them, I'm at work, and I guess it's just been extra hard because I never had to be away from them as much as I have since becoming a nurse.  Fox brought this home from schoo...
