Our May in some pictures...
Brotherly love or wrestling...you never know.
We've played about a 562 games of trouble, before school, after school, all day long!
Nurses Week with some of my co-workers. I absolutely adore my team.
Every day we had a new theme. This was "twin or triplet" day, and my co-workers and I ordered these shirts to match. They say "I'm not judging, I'm assessing".
Always a book in hand...unless he is playing video games with his friends.
Finn came home with this for Mother's Day and I've always loved these kind of questionnaires. This will probably be the last one I ever get.
I loved everything about this, he knows me so well.
Another nurses week project my team did!
I celebrated my 44th birthday this month, and while I always struggled a little bit with birthdays and getting older, this year I really embraced the fact that I have the privilege to get older, the privilege of grey hairs and wrinkles. Working in Oncology can be very sobering that way, because a lot of our patients don't reach this milestone, and I'm extra thankful for my health this year.
My two besties met me for lunch!
Another great check up for both boys at the dentist!
Finn told me he wanted to make my birthday special, so he would do everything I love for my birthday. He suggested taking me to Goodwill, and going for a walk with me, two things I love, and I thought it was so sweet of him to come up with that on his own and think about what I would like to do.
He collected these flowers for me on our walk, and we framed them when we got home.
A long overdue brunch with my nursing school friends, it was so fun catching up with them and sharing hospital stories.
We explored a new play place!
Finn made himself a little sleeping area at the end of my bed to watch TV one night.
Carwash helper!
My sweet co-worker and friend gave me these for my birthday and I love them so much.
Cuddles with my baby...you never know when it's the last time they cuddle with you!
My big kid graduated from elementary school and we were both so sad about it. We are both very nervous about middle school, but I'm hoping that he will have a great time and make lots of new friends.
Finn and I did some Diamond Dot Art together.
A rare night out with my friends. We had dinner, went to a comedy show, and had drinks. It was so good for my heart and soul seeing everyone again and catching up.
Finn loved feeding the chickens at grandma's neighbor's house.
The start of summer break. We are trying to stay cool with lots of indoor play places.
I took the kids to IKEA and Finn insisted on buying this chair from his own money.
Marcela and I went to see Mamma Mia the musical. It was a fun night out!
And that wraps up May!
