My Once Upon a Time...

Finn is 39 weeks old! Apparently I didn't take any other pictures of him that week, so here is a picture of Fox at the same age for comparison!

This must have been the most epic kids birthday party I've ever been to. My friend's son requested a foam party and his parents delivered.  She told me it was only $100 more to buy the foam machine compared to renting one, so they bought it...I can see many more foam parties in our future! All of the kids had so much fun and the adults wished they could've joined. These two were inseparable as usual. At some point the foam got so high that we had to turn the machine off because the little siblings started to disappear under the foam. He was ready to join the fun! While the foam was awesome, Fox's favorite part was their snow cone machine. He never had a snow cone before and loved it. My friend owns the machine as well, so she offered that we could borrow it for Fox's birthday party! He is thrilled! Also, this is his favorite shirt and he is so proud whenever he wears it...he's rocking those sequins with confide...

First of all, I want to thank everyone who commented on my post or emailed me. Your words meant the world to me and brought a smile to my face! I was hesitant to share this part of my life, but I'm so glad I did and that everyone was so supportive and even shared their own personal experiences. So THANK YOU! From the bottom of my heart! I said I would answer some questions, so let's get right to it. Do you still live in the House? - Yes, I do and my plan is to stay here. I considered moving out and to get something smaller that is just mine, because there are lot of memories in this house that include Katie, which is the part I don't like. But in the end, I love the house so much and so does Fox. I didn't want him to have to move and leave the only home he's known, especially with all the changes he already has to go through. We live in a nice and safe neighborhood and I'm very happy that I get to stay here. I do feel a little bit intimidated to tak...

Finn is 38 weeks old! My perfect angel, I can't get enough of him! Music Class is still one of his favorites! Having fun with Big Brother "Come on, wake up so we can play!" He is so over his baby toys and loves it when he gets his hands on Fox's toys! He never lets me cuddle him anymore before bedtime. So when he snuggled into me last night, I figured I better take a picture of this sweet moment. As soon as he saw the camera, he looked up and smiled. These are the moments I will treasure forever in my heart.

I love the Mama and me sessions that our photographer offers, because I'm usually behind the camera and I want to make an effort to be in more pictures with my boys that aren't bad selfies.  Having two kids is definitely a whole new ballgame when it comes to pictures, but Samantha has that special touch that makes them both smile at the same time and still gets it all done in less than 10 minutes. I always go to a photoshoot with the expectation that I just need one great picture out of it, but I love all of them so much and I can't wait to get some printed for our house. 

Finn is 37 weeks old! I love this kid!

I never thought that I had to write a post like this, but I recently had some comments about the absence of Katie in my pictures, so I want to address it and move on. Katie left us when Finn was three months old, although emotionally she had left us way before then. When I was 37 weeks pregnant, she went on a "solo" trip to Hawaii. A few days after her return I found out that she had gone with another woman and not only hid it from me, but also lied to me about it, when I asked her directly if she had gone with someone. Finding out was most horrible day of my life and three days later, I had Finn. I believe that the stress of what had happened put me into labor. A lot of awful things happened since and a lot of time has passed, but to sum it up, she decided to move out at the end of October and has since served me with divorce papers, which was probably the second host horrendous day of my life, due to the way I had to find out that she filed for divorce.
