My Once Upon a Time...

Weight:   Will find out at his 18 month appointment!   Height:   Will find out at his 18 month appointment! Health:   He was great this month! Nicknames:   Big Honey, Bubba, Turkey, Schatzi, Bubbles, Mr. Fox, Foxy, Pumpkin, Poodle   Eating:   It’s getting better and he’s eating and trying more foods than before, but I would still consider him picky. His favorites this month were fish sticks, chicken, blueberries, apple sauce, yoghurt, bananas, smoothies, strawberries, Carmela’s Chicken (it’s a Pasta Dish we get at Macaroni Grill and the kid is obsessed), ketchup (he’s obsessed and yells “ack” when he wants it), Belvita Breakfast bars, dried fruit Teething:   No new teeth this month, he has 16 now.   Sleeping: He’s been sleeping great. We get about 11 hours at night and 3 hours for nap. We think he’s going through a growth spurt, because some naps can even last 4 hours! He seems like he’s having a hard time fallin...

 17 Months old!  The weather is finally bearable and we've been able to go to the park. Fox loves his radio flyer wagon and we have a great park close by, so we've been walking there in the afternoons. Such a boy!

Day 281 Off to Disneyland! Day 282   Our first Day in Toon Town! Day 283   Last Night at the Happiest Place on Earth, we had so much fun! Day 284   Bye Disney, see you next year! Day 285   Katie's Birthday Lunch with the Office Staff (minus Robert) Day 286   We shopped for some new clothes for Fox and then played at this little Outdoor Play Area. He loved it and just wanted to keep up with the bigger kids! We finished the night with dinner at Macaroni Grill. Day 287  I finally got around to putting up our Outdoor Halloween decorations. I decorated inside in September, but I figured, I'd have to wait at least until October 1st, to put our Outdoor Stuff out!

Day 274 A boy and his Teddy.  Day 275 We had a beautiful rainbow over our house, which is hard to see in this picture, but obviously Fox is the pot of gold at the end of every rainbow! ;) Day 276 Home Show Week! We had Chris Lambton at our Show, he has his own Show on HGTV called "Yard Crashers" and was also on a season of the Bachelorette (Ashlie's and my favorite Show!). He was a really nice and personable guy!  Day 277 Fox came to visit us at the Show with Matthias. This little rolly thing is a device to measure booth spaces at the Show and Fox always plays with it at the office, but it was funny to see him with it at the Show. We're starting him early!  Day 278 Family Birthday Dinner for Katie at Ruth Chris (her favorite!)! Day 279 Halloween Bunco Night, fun as always! Day 280 I started making this plate like a month ago and was almost done with it, when our cleaning lady decided it needed to get "dusted...

We planned on taking Fox to Disneyland for the first time in October 2016, when he would be about 2.5 years old. Katie’s family used to go every year when they were little and we wanted to start this tradition with Fox as well.  When our friend Tiffany, went with her then 14 Month old daughter a few months ago and said it was the best trip ever and that she was just the right age for it, we pulled the plunge and decided to go a year earlier than planned. Neither of us had been to Disneyland during Halloween Time, so we were really excited to go and the entire family joined us, Katie’s parents, her sister and her boyfriend and her brother and his girlfriend.  We left Phoenix at noon on Thursday and arrived in Los Angeles around 6pm. Fox did surprisingly well on the car ride. We stopped for 30 minutes to let him run around at a McDonald’s Play Area (which was filthy) and I was able to entertain him in the backseat for the rest of time, but let me tell you…when we arrive...
