Week 35

April 5th, 2014

How far along:
35 weeks!

Baby is the size of a:
Honeydew Melon

Total weight gain:
Probably over 30lbs by now, will find out next week at our doctor’s appointment.

Maternity Clothes?
All the way!

Stretch Marks?
No

Sleep?
Getting worse! I’m up twice a night now to use the bathroom and I’m not getting comfortable. The pain wakes me up every few hours and last night I got a charley horse. I’ve been getting more tired during the day too!

Best moment of the Week:
Having our maternity pictures taken and spending some quality time with Katie.

Movement:
All the time!

Food Cravings:
Smoothies and Chocolate Milk.

Belly Button in or out:
In – barely!

Gender:
Sweet baby boy!

Symptoms:
Same as last week. Add swollen hands, feet and legs as well as bloody noses to that!

Anything Making you queasy or Sick?
Luckily not!

Have you Started to Show yet?
I’d say so!

What I miss:
Feeling like myself.

What I'm looking forward to:
Meeting our little boy soon!

What I'm not looking forward to:
Still not looking forward to labor. I’ve been freaking out every night before bed, thinking about what’s to come. I’m terrified like I’ve never been before and I hope it won’t be as bad as I think it will be.

Weekly Wisdom:
Take one day at a time!

Wie weit:
35 Wochen!

Baby ist so gross wie eine:
Honigmelone

Insgesamte Gewichtszunahme:

Was ich vermisse:
Mich normal zu fuehlen.

Worauf ich mich freue:
Unser Baby bald kennenzulernen!

July iPhone dump

The rest of our July in pictures! Movie date with the boys! I took Finn and his best friend to the Aquarium one day, while Fox was at the allergist with Katie. They both had a blast. Trying to touch the sting rays... Sweet brotherly moment at a play place. One of my patients made this for me, and it made my day. It's now hanging from the mirror in my car, as a reminder how fragile life is. This kid kills me with his watermelons. He always wants to buy them, so he can help me cut them, but then won't eat them. When I pointed this out to him, he simply replied that I could take the watermelon to my co-workers again because they love it when I do.  Fox told me he is allergic to Goodwill and puts on this big act whenever I make them go. His throat starts to be itchy and he can't breathe. We might have to get him tested again...hahaha. We visited a lot of play places this summer to stay out of the heat. This was at a library and the kids played with this lite-brite forever. Finn...

March iPhone dump

A look back at the month of March! Fox and I had a few hours to ourselves while Finn was at a birthday party, and he wanted to go shopping at Target and get some Starbucks. Sounds like my kind of date! This is where you can find him most days, playing games with his friends online, while simultaneously being on facetime with them. When did he get so big? Family game night outside! My sour patch kid. He told me he will still cuddle with me until he is 42...haha! I've been having a really hard time sharing parenting time lately. It kills me every time when I have to drop them off every other week for a stretch of five days, and I have been getting anxiety attacks. I know they are well taken care of, I know they have fun there and don't even think about me, but it still sucks. Whenever I'm not with them, I'm at work, and I guess it's just been extra hard because I never had to be away from them as much as I have since becoming a nurse.  Fox brought this home from schoo...
