My Once Upon a Time...

Some moments from our October! Finn had to have oral surgery because he had an extra tooth growing in. We found out this extra tooth was the reason that he lost his first baby tooth prematurely. He did absolutely amazing, but I was a nervous wreck because neither of my kids ever had to have anesthesia or an IV.  This view from my office made me happy every night.  I will make gingerbread houses with him as long as he will be up for it. Big Brother is already too cool for it.  He is full of attitude!  Girls night out at the PINK concert, it was amazing! Jones soda for the Jones boys! My cuddle bug. I got a new chair for my office and I absolutely love it.  Just another day in nursing school... They still go to Karate twice a week. Neither of them ever want to go, but they end up having fun. Driving around to look at Halloween decorations. He is always looking to make us laugh. Katie calls him Jim Carey. We picked out our Halloween costumes, and Finn had fun model...

A few moments from our September! The last swim play date at the water park with some friends! Brunch with my old classmates! Karate crew! Every other week, I can go visit the kids during their lunch break at school, and I will show up as long as they let me! Fox and his best friend from class. We decorated for Halloween, and this kid was all about it. This was his idea of decorating, and he was not happy when he came home the following day and I had moved his spider into a different spot. He calls this his "Rockstar Pose" We changed Fox's room a little bit, and I was very sad to say goodbye to his space room and rocket bed, but it was time, and he loves his new room. A quick scooter ride to the little library in our neighborhood to exchange books. He cracks me up every day. The other day I picked him up from school and asked how it was, and he replied "It was decent!"  I'm getting up really early these days for clinical days and school, but on this morning ...
