May iPhone dump

Some of my favorite moments of May that haven't made it on the blog yet. May has been such an incredible month and I wish I could turn back time and do it all over again. Between graduating from nursing school and all the celebrations that came with that, Fox's 10th birthday, Finn's Kindergarten graduation, and all the sweet little moments in between, it was a month I will never forget.  Kindergarten Homework for this cutie, he is very smart, but hates doing it. This was my favorite view at school, right when you exited the building. This was the place where we met up with friends during breaks, and after every exam, and I wanted to take a picture to remember this special place.  Making paper airplanes has been a new favorite for him. This was two days before I took my final exam, and I probably should've been studying, but having an ice cream date with the boys sounded much more fun. He loves to make us laugh. While Finn and I were getting ready for bed, I asked him to

Fox's 10th Birthday Interview

Fox is 10! It blows my mind that I had the privilege to be his mom for the last DECADE! He is kind, sensitive, empathetic, creative, an amazing negotiator, funny, loving and sweet, and he gives the best hugs! He is a homebody through and through, loves playing Roblox, reading, and zooming around on his hover board. He likes the finer things in life like his other mom, but the rest of his personality is all me. For his 10th birthday celebration, I have something very special planned, and I cannot wait. I started to ask Fox the same questions on his birthday since he was three years old, and while his answers are not as funny as they were when he was little, I love to hear them every year and compare them with previous years. Fox’s 10th Birthday Interview: 1. How old are you? 10 2. Who is your best friend? Lukas 3. What is your favorite thing to do? Play with Lukas and talk 4. What is your favorite color? Purple 5. What is your favorite food? Filet mignon 6. What do you like to do with y

Graduation Party

My mother in law Rene' and my friend Allison threw me a graduation brunch the day after I got pinned as a nurse. I love this picture of Patrick. My other (ex) mother in law made this incredible cake for me, she is so talented. My sweet friend Mason. We spent our first year in nursing school together, until he decided to go a different route. We still meet up for brunches and he is also my hairdresser, but I still miss seeing him as much as I used to. It meant a lot to me that he came.  I can't even express how loved I felt on this day. I am one lucky girl to be surrounded by so many amazing friends who have been through it all with me. Ten years of friendship this year! Katie and Christina brought the boys and also attended my party, which I really appreciated. Classmates! I was joking that the next time I will receive this many flowers, it'll be my funeral. I also received so many thoughtful and sweet cards and gifts, I was truly spoiled. It was the perfect ending to an em
