Bearizona

I've lived in Arizona for almost 12 years, but had never been to Bearizona. Bearizona is a wildlife park where none of the animals are contained in cages, there is a drive through part and a walk through part. Someone had posted on facebook that they are still open, so we decided to take a little break from homeschooling and did a field trip.
The drive there was long (2.5 hours), but it was so nice to get out and see something else. It even snowed on and off while we drove there and while we were there. Fox has only been in snow twice, but has never experienced or seen falling snow, so it was really exciting for him (and honestly, for me too!).
Since we were driving through really slow, the kids were able to get out of their carseats.

You were able to stop and watch the animals for as long as you wanted to (besides one of the areas), which was really cool.

They weren't really interested in the cars as you can see, probably because they are so used to them.

We didn't do the walk through area, because it was freezing, but we got out for a little bit to enjoy the snow.

It was a really great day, even though the drive was long, but the kids did amazing.
